PI Portfolio: Bernadette Johnson

March 15, 2021

Bernadette Johnson is a Ph.D. student in the Jones lab. "Our lab is interested in evolution, sexual selection, and genomics. We are currently working with the African turquoise killifish to understand which traits are important in courtship behaviors. To do this, we track mating behaviors and use CRISPR techniques to knock out genes of interest." Bernadette works closely with undergraduate researcher Avrie Fox, also featured in these photos.
