Research Impacts Data Analyst
Increase the competitiveness of research at the U of I by facilitating the discovery, organization, analysis, and presentation of data related to university research. Work collaboratively with IIDS, ORED, Institutional Research, OIT, the Library, and various colleges and departments.

Lead all communication, design, and marketing efforts for IIDS. Implement creative strategies and produce design and marketing materials in all formats to support the mission of the institute. Communicate complex scientific topics in written and visual formats to promote research that occurs at the U of I.

Operate and maintain sophisticated research equipment that produces cutting-edge genome-scale data. Work with GBRC staff and PIs to conduct research related to genetics, genomics, metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, targeted sequencing, and genotyping.

Serve as an independent researcher and collaborator as a part of the Computational One Health Initiative. Lead responsibility for discrete components of larger projects under the general direction of a senior or principal researcher.
